Energy Center was established in early 2009, to accommodate cooperation with oil and gas industry, and aimed to be a profit center, covering almost every aspect of Oil and Gas industry services. Energy Center has been opening contacts with many institutions and professionals / experts in Oil and Gas industry, and developing several projects, among others:

1. Cooperation with PT. Surveyor Indonesia (PT. SI), Energy Center UP45 has introduced to PT. SI, several business opportunities in Oil and Gas industry, which haven’t been run by PT. SI.
2. Handling of TENORM, Technologically enchanced naturally occuring radioactive materials. This is cooperation with nuclear experts from Bapeten and UGM, offering services as follows:
   • Trainings,
   • Mapping / Facts Gathering,
   • Monitoring and Analysis.
3. Seismic Service, It is known that most of seismic works in Indonesia are being conducted by foreign contractors. Energy Center has been building cooperation with experienced local seismic experts to take part in the seismic works being done in Indonesia oil fields.
4. Colaboration with ETTI (Exploration Think Tank Indonesia), a comperhensive Oil and gas exploration and production consulting service company (ref: http://etti.co.id/).
5. Sustainability Research, This project collects all information, standard works in oil and gas industry, and propose standard monitoring and reporting.
6. Channeling Skillful Professionals (in Oil and Gas) to Middle East Area, From the interaction with it’s partners in Middle East, Energy Center has been asked to provide several expertise to be working in Middle East Oil and Gas Fields.
7. Cooperation with PT. Wendell Indonesia, a trading  and service company in oil and gas industry. The cooperation covers business activities such as trainings and consulting.
8. Cooperation with ASIRPA (Asian Society for International Relations and Public Affairs), an organization of Indonesian community in Indiana, USA. Which aims to contribute in the development of Indonesian human resources and economic welfare.
9. Cooperation with University of Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA, to develop joint program for Indonesian students who wish to attend US School, but still considering the school fees. This program could save 50% because the first half of the study courses will be taken at UP45 in Yogyakarta, and the rest will be taken at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA.
